Yes, there is a war going on in Iraq and it is women that usually have to carry on when there is conflict anywhere. Come hear news and updates on Women's Issues and Progress froma global view form recent discussions at the United Nations. Our guest speaker is Anne Hoiberg, Director of the Women's Equity Council of the United Nations Association of San Diego and President of the International Museum of Human Rights at San Diego. She will speak on timely issues discussed on her recent trip to the U.N. in New York City.

We are pleased to invite you to join
us for our cultural extravaganza! This year we will dine at a wonderful
Middle Eastern restaurant, FAIROUZ RESTAURANT AND GALLERY. (Voted Best
Middle Eastern restaurant -by San Diego Magazine) We will enjoy a buffet
with various eastern delicacies, be surrounded by beautiful artwork from
the owner, Ibraham Al-Nashashibi. Ibraham, born in Jerusalem, who has
an interesting life story that he will share with us. We will also have
a woman business leader from the Arabic American Association to speak
on doing trade in the Middle East. This should be a fun and informative
evening!
